This produces rege\u00adne\u00adra\u00adtive heat and biochar. \u201eOur carbo\u00adniza\u00adtion plant is unique in Germany in terms of its dimen\u00adsions and is the first time nega\u00adtive emis\u00adsion tech\u00adno\u00adlogy has been inte\u00adgrated in a German indus\u00adtrial group,\u201c explains Dr. Wilfried Spintig, COO at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thyssenkrupp-rotheerde.com\/de\">thys\u00adsen\u00adkrupp rothe erde<\/a>. \u201eWe use the heat gene\u00adrated in the pyro\u00adlysis process for our produc\u00adtion site in Lipp\u00adstadt and can thus cover around 40% of our on-site heat requi\u00adre\u00adments.\u201c This rene\u00adwable heat replaces previously fossil fuels. By way of compa\u00adrison, the heat produced in the plant is equi\u00adva\u00adlent to the annual demand of almost 300 households.<br>\nThe feedstock used in Lipp\u00adstadt is unpro\u00adcessed and uncon\u00adta\u00admi\u00adnated wood, consis\u00adting on the one hand of pack\u00ada\u00adging resi\u00addues and on the other of suitably dried green waste.
